If you think that I am biased towards the classic free weight equipment program you have guessed correctly. I have preferred free weights to the selectorized equipment since I started working out over 20 years ago. Maybe I am a bit biased because I have always incorporated strength training into my athletic training, but its how I was brought into the world of fitness and exercise. One last point...It is important to keep your weight lifting equipment well organized and the best way to keep Olympic plates, dumbbells and kettlebells safely stored is with weight lifting equipment racks. They are inexpensive and will go a very long way to keeping your home gym fitness equipment stored properly and this will make workouts more effective.
